This is a card about opposites. I see a woman on a throne between two pillars one black, one white. She is dressed in flowing white robes with the moon tangled in them at her feet. She has pomegranates and palms behind her, indicating her wealth.
This is the second card of the Major arcana. She sometimes reminds me of a goddess or a priestess from Greek and Roman times who will guide you when you have a heavy question on your mind. She is about choosing the right path among the ones you see before you. She can be representative of Diana the fierce moon goddess of hunt who chose to remain a virgin and faithful to her hunting companions and worship of the moon.
She is there to remind us to make a choice - often between action and inaction; or sometimes between good and not so good.
